Open-TTD - Expansion of the central station Munich

Exceptionally, a project of Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe is published in the projects-area. It is the expansion of the Munich central train station on a multi-player map of Europe.

Graswerder already has a diversified and closely-knit transport system - metro and buses as well as regional and long distance trains. So the introduction of another system - the light rail - must be considered as a pure prestige project.

Hanseatic city of Gotenburg

The city is entirely located on a large, roughly semi-circular island. Gotenburg is accessible by different ferry-services. Furthermore, there is a bigh motorway-bridge, crossing several upstream islands, which connects Gotenburg with the continent. The city also has a major seaport, important for the cities economy.

Metropolitan Region Stileskoop

This metropolis was, as for example Niederburg-Sillingen, an experiment in which this one city had two mayors. Therefore nine large maps have been selected and the center-map of the was played by both mayors. The other eight maps were split alternately between the two players.

Kleeberg

The city is geographically stunning. The mountain range, whose highest peak lent the city its name, bounds Kleeberg on the east. The urban area spreads to the beautiful wide river on a narrow peninsula. The natural conditions have provided the basis for special accents in Kleeberg.

Urban expansion in the east of Rottbek

After the renovation of the central station in Rottbek was completed, agriculturally used areas should be rezoned for a new residential district and be built in several phases. A vast residential use as single-family- and row-houses was provided. To enable a sustainable mode of transport, the new settlement areas were immediately connected to the tram network of the city.

Lykkeby is a town located on a wide creek. The special feature of the city is a completely edited from the river separated lake, which is located in the inner city. Not least because of this natural space condition Lykkeby is strongly characterized by an enormously high quality of life.

Shire of Niederburg-Sillingen

Niederburg-Sillingen is a special project, as both the city and its surrounding communities were developed by two players (Niederburg and Sillingen emerged as two mutually connected cities on a map). The city was developed alternating in 5-year-intervals.

Alteration of Rottbeks central station and its surroundings

During the initial phase a strong growth was expected in Rottbek, which is why large transportation facilities have been established. Today these go far beyond the demand. Therefore, the decision was made to demolish the central station and upgrade the surrounding neighborhood in a large urban development project.

Hølkashavn

The city spreads along both sides of the great river, the Hølkas, and includes a river island (Kavnsø) in the city center. Because of its location, the island is affected by many infrastructure routes. Nevertheless, some high quality residential and office buildings have made Kavnsø a part of the main city center.

Region Greater Graswerder

The region of Graswerder is located in the east of the county Niederburg-Sillingen and, as the populations of the member communities already show, characterized by great disparities. The high-density regional center Graswerder with over 750,000 inhabitants is in opposition to rural areas with a low density.

Building a tram in Kleeberg Height

In the mid-50s Kleeberg was under an enormous development-pressure, the investors gathered around the best construction sites. The enormous growth of the city made an expansion of the public transport necessary. A metro was not payable, so the mayor decided to built a four-line tram-system.

The aim in SimCity 4 is, just as in the various predecessors, to give thousands (in the long run millions) of people, a place to settle, to find work, to educate themselves and to spend their free time.
