About Lykkeby: Lykkeby is a town located on a wide creek. The special feature of the city is a completely edited from the river separated lake, which is located in the inner city. Not least because of this natural space condition Lykkeby is characterized by an enormously high quality of life:

• Train and local transport network are (were very few plug-ins used) developed well,
• There is a stadium and a casino,
• Multiple connections to public transport to the neighboring city Auenmünde,
• Many schools (including an university) and other cultural and leisure facilities complete the positive picture.

Probably the most beautiful mayoral residence...

At the lake in the mayoral residence was built. In honor of the former mayors of Lykkeby there was developed a nice urban Place beside the residence. The neighborhood of this Square has become a popular residential and business location. In particular the district of Tingsby stands for high living and quality of life.

City railway station at "Fährstraße"...

Also in Tingsby the cities train station is located, a major transportation hub in the heart of the city. The heavily frequented ferry port (connection to Auenmünde) is accessible from the city train station in a few minutes walk.

Office and business district on Lykke Peninsula...

Immediately at the mentioned ferry port on Lykke Peninsula the most important office and business district was created. The "Bravnspladsen" (in the center of the picture) offers beautiful views on the Sound of Lykkeby.

Aiming high...

At the bottom of the picture the beach alley is recognizable. The high-rises in the northern district, bordering Lykkedalen, serve the living and meet the mid-price segment. The district was taken to a high proportion of green space in order to limit the density. On the right side, quite outside the picture, is the largest school-center of the city, there you can find:

Technology Center Binsted...

On the eastern outskirts of the city, in the district Binsted an impressive technology center was created. Because of by industry often articulated demand for corporate headquarters, the city decided to reallocate some industrial spaces into comercial space. High design standards have been made in this plans. With the result both, industry representatives and the mayor, were very satisfied.

Susie's estate by the Technology Centre...

After the extension of the technology center, a large number of new jobs was created. The Government responded by establishing the "Susie's complex" west of the new corporate headquarters. The settlement was opened in year 82 and is now almost fully occupied.
